Recently, the outer basin section of the Montevideo Port Depth Expansion Project in Uruguay has successfully passed final acceptance.
Located in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, the project primarily involved infrastructure-related dredging of the port basin, covering a total area of approximately 500,000 square meters.
As the largest port in Uruguay, the completion of this project effectively alleviates congestion in the outer basin area, provides ample space for large vessels to maneuver within the port, improves port efficiency, enhances the image and regional influence of Uruguay’s ports, and further promotes the country’s economic development.
