June 9, 2015, We have recently finished the production of dredging PE floater for our Middle East customer. Our technicians are now carrying out an all-round inspection of the floaters to ensure they meet the highest standards.
These dredging PE floaters have two sizes: One is the OD1800*L2200mm, which is used in the ID750mm dredging HDPE Pipeline; the other is the OD2200*L2500mm, which is suitable for the ID850mm dredging HDPE Pipeline.
Each dredging PE floater consists of two pieces and each HDPE pipe of 11.8 meters long has been equipped with three pairs of floaters.
The advantages and performance of pipe floater:
1. Chemical Performance
Polyethylene (PE) has good chemical stability, anti-acid, anti-alkali, and can prevent the corrosion from the salt solution. And it has the perfect water-proof performance.
Its dielectric property, physical and mechanical properties will not change even under high temperature and soaking condition, concentrated sulfuric acid and nitric acid can’t corrode it.
Polyurethane (PU) Foam Filler has better chemical stability, lightfastness, ozone proof, aging resistance, oil resistance, etc. It will not absorb water even if the external polyethylene is broken.
2. Installation
You can connect with bolts and use a nylon bind belt or another soft bind belt to enhance connection intensity.
3. Performance
Easy installation, long service time.
Precautions of pipe floater
1. Avoid the impact of edge tools even if the case has good intensity.
2. Fix the case in time if it is broken.
