It is incredible that such a large project is completed in just one year. We are proud that our dredging rubber floater is used in this project. NMDC (The National Marine Dredging Company) is one of the major construction contractors, who speak highly of the performance of our dredging rubber floaters that we supplied to them last year.
June 16, 2015, Egypt will inaugurate on August 6 a “new Suez canal” shipping route aimed at speeding up traffic along the existing waterway, officials said on Saturday.
Performance of pipe floater
The thickness of one dredging steel pipe is 25mm, for the 18-meter-long steel pipe, we use three rubber floaters (5.3m long), instead of the traditional steel pontoon, because of one rubber floater weight 3.3ton, and one steel pontoon weight about 9 ton. These dredging rubber floaters can be easily installed with long-service life and cost much less than steel pontoon.
