Work Description:The work includes annual maintenance dredging for the Oakland Inner and Outer Harbor federal navigation channel in Alameda County. This project has a Base for the FY18 Dredge Cycle to dredge the Inner and Outer Harbor to -50-ft (MLLW) plus 1-ft of paid over-depth to be transported and placed at a Contractor-furnished permitted beneficial use upland site. This project includes two Alternative Options; Alternative Option 1 is for the FY19 Dredge Cycle dredging the Inner and Outer Harbor to -50-ft (MLLW) plus 1-ft of paid over-depth to be transported to the Government-furnished site SF-DODS. Work Description:Baltimore Harbor & York Spit VA Channel. It is anticipated the work would be performed in the Fall-Winter of 2018-2019. The project consists of dredging portions of the York Spit Federal Navigation Channel. The work consists of maintenance dredging to a required depth of 51 feet MLLW with one foot of allowable overdepth. The dredging involves approximately 1,500,000 to 2,000,000 cubic yards of material, including allowable overdepth dredging. The work shall be performed by a clamshell dredge and scow with all dredged material transported and placed in the designated Government-furnished placement area at Wolf Trap Alternative Placement Site. A large portion of the work may be performed during the winter months when weather conditions are most severe. Work will also be accomplished in a heavy commercial waterway supporting the Port of Baltimore. The equipment required for this work commonly consists of one or two 40 plus cubic yard clamshell dredges, several large tugs, several 2,500 – 5,000 cubic yard bottom dump material scows, and appropriate attendant plant.

Work Description:The New York District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) proposes to perform maintenance dredging of portions of the Newark Bay, New Jersey Federal Navigation Project. The dredged material would be processed and subsequently transported to and placed at a contractor furnished, State permitted upland placement site(s). The proposed maintenance dredging would remove approximately 187,260 cubic yards (CY) of selected critical shoals from the Main and Port Elizabeth Channels of Newark Bay. Dredging in these channels would be required to a depth of -50 feet Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW) plus 1 foot allowable overdepth. The dredged material is expected to consist primarily of silt and clay.he work is estimated to cost between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000.
