Work Description:
The work includes maintenance dredging of an estimated 110,000 cubic yards of material, place dredge materials in the designated in-water placement site, and conduct pre- and post-dredge surveys at Dillingham Harbor in Dillingham, Alaska for the base and each option year (if awarded). Dredged material is expected to be fine-grained shoaled material. The Contractor is to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to accomplish the work. The work period is from 15 May to 15 July 2017 (base FY17); 15 May to 15 July 2018 (option FY18); 15 May to 15 July 2019 (option FY19).

Work Description:
Contract will consist of maintenance dredging of Marcus Hook and New Castle.
a) Dredging will be performed to a depth of 43 feet to 44 feet plus 1 foot allowable over depth limited by a vertical plane through the required depth contour;
b) Dredging will be required to a distance of 25 feet outside the channel limits where shoaling occurs along the channel edge within the authorized channel limits;
c) No side slopes or end slopes are specified for this contract;
d) The use of hopper and mechanical/bucket dredges will not be permitted under this contract;
e) The Government-furnished disposal areas available for use under this contract are Pedricktown North, and Killcohook Area Number 1;
f) The awarded contract will contain Liquidated Damages at a rate to be specified in the Solicitation.
