The Port of Beira, Mozambique maintenance dredging is in progress.
The maintenance dredging project is a regular project, responsible for the construction of six areas of the Port. The Port of Beira is located at the mouth of the Pungue River, 20 km from the open sea. It has 11 berths stretching over a total length of 1,994m and it is the second largest port in Mozambique.
After completion, It will greatly reduce the pressure on the navigable water depth limit of the Port of Beira, and improve the navigation capacity of the port channel.
